How we work

  1. Tell us your situation: personal or organization, app category and launch date.
  2. Pick the account type: if you have a company, an organization account avoids the 12-tester requirement.
  3. Prepare verification: ID or company documents, payment profile and contact details that match.
  4. Register and verify: pay the US$25 fee, complete identity, contact and Android device verification.
  5. Closed testing (personal accounts): plan 12+ real testers for 14 consecutive days, then apply for production access.
  6. Launch: store listing, policy declarations and release.

How long it takes

Registration and payment take minutes; identity verification usually takes a few days. New personal accounts add at least 14 days of closed testing plus Google's review of the production access request — plan for two to three weeks or more. See 12 testers for 14 days explained.

Can I just buy an account?
